Check out this short video that will walk you through generating the address you need to register and use throughout the competition.
What are the rules?
The official rules will be found here.

  • The challenge is single entry. Don't register more than 1 testnet STX address and BTC address.
  • Entrants must only use the same testnet BTC and STX addresses submitted during registration for the duration of the challenge. Daemon Technologies will use these addresses to determine the ranking of participants during the Challenge.
  • Good Will rule: it will be at the discretion of Daemon Technologies if folks game the system. Payments will be sent in Stacks (STX) tokens.
How will the winners be determined?
Every participant that successfully mines a Stacks block on the Xenon testnet will receive 250 STX tokens, per block. "Successfully mine" means your generated block is included in the longest chain, and you eventually receive the testnet coinbase reward.
How much can I win?
Each block you mine on the Xenon network is worth 250 STX tokens.
How do I enter?
  1. Fill out and submit the registration form fully.
  2. Follow the instructions from the Xenon testnet to set up a miner, Bitcoind node, and get some tBTC.
